More news from Newalbumville.
So, we’ve had a pretty busy weekend! We spent almost all our weekend in Bibbi’s old music school, which we had borrowed for the occasion.
We started recording again on Saturday. We got 2 violin players and 1 viola player who together made a string quartet with Hildur. Luckily they’ve played together before (Ólafur Arnalds’s string quartet) so it sounded really good.

Yesterday we recorded lots of fun stuff.
Celeste, piano, harmonium and we actually made some singing arrangements where everyone in the band sung. Pretty fun.
Now we’re just sitting and watching Alex and Biggi work their magic on the recordings.

Hey there,
Live report here from Sundlaugin studio!
It’s now day 3 and we’ve got a lot of things going on.
We got down the basic tracks(guitar, bass, drums) to all of the songs on the album on day 1 and 2.
So today we started doing the fun stuff. We’ve been recording acoustic guitar and piano today, and the songs are beginning to sound really good.

Last week we started pre-production for our new album. Alex (Alex Somers of Riceboy Sleeps) has been coming to practices and helping us develop the songs. He´s been a really big help and has pushed us to try thing that we probably would never have done except for him. His help has been priceless.
